so. my journey started a long time ago when i started looking at going on a missions trip somewhere. ive always been interested in missions and always wanted to go. my brother got to go to Honduras a few years back, and i must admit that i was jealous. so, now it is my turn. in september, i plan on moving to Kenya for 8 months. thats right. 8 months. (the best part is that i get to miss our wintery winter!)
for those who dont know, Kenya is in East Africa on the equator. im pretty stoked. warm weather instead of this -30 crap... who wouldnt be excited?
i applied this past summer...and got accepted. my journey has started and i have not even left Canada yet! there is so much to do before i even step foot on that plane.
